I'm Jesse, and welcome to my creative space.

This journey started when I began to notice a common pattern across the outdoor industry. So many hunting, fishing, and outdoor-related businesses were delivering incredible experiences in the woods and on the water, but their websites didn’t reflect that. Too many websites felt disconnected from the quality, care, and authenticity behind their businesses.

That's a problem. Your website should feel as strong as the experiences you offer. It is often the first impression someone has of your business. If it doesn’t match the experience and service you provide, you’re leaving trust and opportunity on the table.

So, I decided I wanted to do something about it. I design websites for individuals and small businesses who want more than a good-looking online presence. If you want something that reflects the heart behind you work, feels true to who you are, and connects with the right people—I'm your gal. By combining my appreciation for the outdoors with a strategic, detail-driven approach to design, I create digital experiences that feel engaging, authentic, and built to grow alongside brands and businesses.

My background.

I’ve spent eight years working as a Project Manager in web and eLearning design & development, collaborating closely with clients, designers, and developers to bring many digital projects to life. I've managed complex timelines, aligned creative teams, and most importantly—helped translate ideas into online experiences that actually work for users.

While I’ve always enjoyed building client relationships and guiding projects forward, I found myself continually drawn to more of the design side of the work. That eventually led me to design my own website as a creative outlet; a place to share my outdoor adventures and time spent outside.

Today, I bring together my background in project management and my passion for web design to help businesses translate what they do best into websites that feel professional, intentional, and thoughtfully crafted.

My approach.

You can think of me like a fly fishing guide, but for web design. A good guide understands the water, reads the conditions, and knows exactly which fly to tie on. They don’t rely on guesswork or trends alone; they rely on experience, observation, and intention.

I bring that same mindset to every project. I stay current with design best practices, tailor every detail to each unique brand and audience, and design with purpose—so your website doesn’t just look good, but works hard behind the scenes.

When I'm not behind a computer.

I grew up in Terrace Bay, a small community on the north shore of Lake Superior in Northwestern Ontario. My family’s history runs deep in the outdoors, and hunting and fishing were a major part of my childhood. My grandpa opened Falls Archery Center in Wisconsin in 1974, and my dad and grandpa guided spring black bear hunts through the 80s and 90s. My grandparents built a log cabin in the early 2000's on acreage in Wisconsin, where they spent their retirement. Our family had the privledge to deer hunt there every fall, and I cherish all of my memories from growing up.  

After college, I took a huge leap and moved across the country to Vancouver, British Columbia. It was there I was introduced to centerpin, spey, and fly fishing. I spent nearly every weekend on various rivers chasing salmon, steelhead, and sturgeon. Fishing opened doors to a few unforgettable adventures for me, including heli-fishing, TV features, and hosting a youth fly fishing camp. It also led me to my husband, Brandon, who shares in this passion as we continue our adventures together in central Alberta. When I am not behind a computer, I love to spend time fishing with Brandon on many of the rivers around Alberta.
