This journey started when I began to notice a common pattern across the outdoor industry. So many hunting, fishing, recreation, and lifestyle businesses were delivering incredible experiences in the woods or on the water—but their websites didn’t come anywhere close to reflecting that. Too many websites felt DIY, rushed, or disconnected from the quality, care, and authenticity behind their brands, organizations and businesses.
That's a problem. Your website should feel as strong as the experiences you offer. It is often the first impression someone has of your business. If it doesn’t match the experience and service you provide, you’re leaving trust—and opportunity—on the table.
That’s where I come in.
I design websites for individuals and small businesses who want more than a good-looking online presence. If you want something that reflects the heart behind you work, feels true to who you are, and connects with the right people—I'm your gal. By combining my appreciation for the outdoors with a strategic, detail-driven approach to design, I create digital experiences that feel engaging, authentic, and built to grow alongside brands and businesses.
I’ve spent over seven years working as a Project Manager in web and eLearning design, collaborating closely with clients, designers, and developers to bring digital projects to life. I've managed complex timelines, aligned creative teams, and—most importantly—helped translate ideas into experiences that actually work for users.
While I’ve always enjoyed building relationships and guiding projects forward, I found myself continually drawn to the design side of the work. That pull eventually led me to design my own website as a creative outlet—a place to share my outdoor adventures and time spent outside.
Over time, that outlet became something more.
Today, I bring together my background in project management and my passion for web design to help outdoor, rural, and nature-based businesses translate what they do best into websites that feel professional, intentional, and thoughtfully crafted—without losing the authenticity that makes them special.
You can think of me like a fly fishing guide—but for web design. A good guide understands the water, reads the conditions, and knows exactly which fly to tie on. They don’t rely on guesswork or trends alone; they rely on experience, observation, and intention.
I bring that same mindset to every project. I stay current with design best practices, tailor every detail to each unique brand and audience, and design with purpose—so your website doesn’t just look good, but works hard behind the scenes.
Because ultimately, a website is more than just a marketing tool.
It’s the trailhead.
It’s the first handshake.
It’s the place where someone decides whether to trust you.
A great website welcomes people into your world, tells your story honestly, and leaves a lasting impression. It sparks curiosity, builds confidence, and creates connection—long before someone ever steps outside with you.
Outdoor-First Perspective
You work directly with me—my work isn't outsourced—and every project is inspired by my time spent outdoors. I understand the values and expectations of outdoor audiences, and design websites that genuinely resonate.
Built with Care and Attention to Detail
By working with a small, select group of clients at a time, I’m able to give each project the attention it deserves—focusing deeply on your business, goals, and audience so your website feels intentional and authentic.
Designed for Busy, Off-the-Grid Clients
I understand your work doesn’t happen behind a desk. I keep communication simple, timelines clear, and the process efficient—so your website gets built without constant check-ins or unnecessary meetings.
Custom Design and Solutions
Your website should feel like stepping into your world. I design fully custom experiences—carefully shaping layout, flow, and details so your site feels tailored to your brand, not pulled from a generic template.
Project Management Mindset
With years of experience managing web projects and a PMP designation, I bring clear communication, a thoughtful process, and zero guesswork—so you always know what’s happening, what’s next, and where things stand.
I grew up in Terrace Bay, a small community on the north shore of Lake Superior in Northwestern Ontario. My family’s history runs deep in the outdoors, and hunting and fishing were a major part of my upbringing. My grandpa opened Falls Archery Center in Wisconsin in 1974, and my dad and grandpa guided spring black bear hunts through the 80s and 90s. Fall moose & deer hunting season was always the most anticipated season in our house.
After college, I packed up $2,000, took a leap of faith, and moved across the country to Vancouver, British Columbia. It was there I was introduced to centerpin, spey, and fly fishing. I spent nearly every spare moment on the rivers chasing salmon, steelhead, and sturgeon. Fishing opened doors to a few unforgettable adventures for me—including heli-fishing, TV features, and even hosting a youth fly fishing camp. It also led me to my fiancé, Brandon, who now shares in this passion as we continue our adventures together in central Alberta.
When I am not behind a computer, I love to spend time fishing with Brandon on many of the rivers around Alberta.
