WEBSITE DESIGN

A moose-t see destination in Northwestern Ontario.

Lake Superior North Shore Tourism is a concept tourism homepage designed to inspire exploration along Northwestern Ontario’s rugged Lake Superior coastline, with a focus on promoting the region as a year-round road trip destination. The project aims to create an immersive digital experience that highlights the North Shore’s breathtaking landscapes, outdoor adventures, and welcoming communities while providing travelers with the resources to plan their journey. Combining striking destination photography, nature-inspired graphics, and a clean, modern layout, the design captures the adventurous spirit of the region and encourages visitors to discover everything the North Shore has to offer.

Design objectives.

The result.

This project brings the North Shore region’s rugged landscapes and sense of adventure to life through a visually engaging website concept. By showcasing scenic destinations, outdoor experiences, and helpful road trip resources, the design encourages visitors to explore everything the region has to offer. The goal was to create a website that feels inviting, makes trip planning easier, and inspires people to discover the communities and landscapes along the North Shore.

Designing this homepage pushed me to think beyond just how the website looks and consider how visitors would actually use it. I explored ways to balance beautiful destination photography with clear navigation and useful travel information, making it easy for travellers to find inspiration and plan their next stop. This project helped me better understand how thoughtful design can support tourism goals while creating a practical, easy-to-use experience for people exploring the region.
